The ANBERNIC RG556 boasts a 5.48-inch AMOLED touchscreen that can reach a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p, making it suitable for emulating a wide range of classic games.
ANBERNIC RG556's internal hardware boasts a powerful Unisoc T820 processor and Mali G87 graphics unit, with 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage. It also supports TF card expansion of up to 2TB.
The two joysticks (which are arranged offset, not parallel) and the triggers of the shoulder buttons rely on Hall sensors to prevent joystick drift. The joysticks with magnetic Hall effect sensors are considered more precise and longer lasting.
The 5500mAh battery provides up to 8 hours of playtime. Wireless connectivity includes WiFi 2.4/5G 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Android 13 operating system enables support for 30+ emulators and includes a six-axis gyroscope sensor for tilt control and vibration motor. It also supports 1080p display port output and moonlight streaming.
While the RG556 still holds strong with its comfortable design and solid performance, the RG557 introduces several notable upgrades:

As usual with the guys at whatgeek, the process of purchasing and tracking the delivery was seamless and painless, awesome stuff. As for the rg556 itself, this is such a powerful and multi faceted machine. Ergonomics are perfect very comfortable for long gaming sessions. I would say the cardinal snapping is still here on the sticks but it's not a deal breaker and can be lessened with control tweaking. The sound out of the box is pretty awful, but because this is an android device you can get a piece of software via the Google store which allows graphic equalisation and once done these speakers are pretty impressive. The oled screen is a thing of beauty, truly every game from max to PS2 looks incredible. Great battery life and very quick charging.
All in all an awesome very capable machine, get it now!

It is working fine, has to be checked with games, but I will do it later on. Overall I can recommend it.
