I bought this device solely to play Vertical Shooters and it delivers! I have watched many YT videos of good the screen is and it's true and you will notice it immediately. The price of the RGB30 has massively dropped and buying this now is a no brainer to add to your collection.
I ordered the Powkiddy RGB30 white, on WhatGeek because the price was good.
I received the item as expected and upon opening it, I noticed the R2 button was faulty. It would not click.
When I read the return policy online, it is written that I needed to ship the item back at my expense. I was disappointed, but ready to comply.
I started a support claim, and they asked me to upload a video showing the defect. I did, and to my surprise, they approved the replacement and said I do not need to ship the faulty unit back.
I have not received the replacement unit yet, it’s been 10 days since the approval. It takes them one to 3 days to respond to emails, but they do respond.
I cannot fault WhatGeek for a faulty unit that Powkiddy made, but I commend them for their customer service and fixing my problem without charging me extra.
Good service, shipping could be better (faster).
I got this to play SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color in the correct aspect ratio and it's absolutely perfect for that!
I searched the device on the internet for a review and found out that it's actually good. So, I looked up for an online shop where I can buy it. Decided to buy it in Whatgeek for its affordability, faster shipping and the site is cool. Really recommend the shop and the device for its price.
