The upper case of Edge is created from 3K twill weave carbon fiber. Also, the Edge metallic bottom is crafted from magnesium alloy, which is tougher and performs remarkably well on heat resistance.

Based on Flow switches, again we pushed the limits of how thin Edge can achieve with Kailh. To make sure to provide a smooth, consistent keystroke without tactile interruption, we chose to shorten the total travel rather than just easily lower the height of switches. After rigorous testing and refinements ranging from 2.8mm to 1.0mm, the finalized total travel distance of Kaih POM Switch 2.0 hits 2.4mm.
